Thirteen songs about situations you wouldn't want your daughter to be in. Collected from the folk repertoire of America, Scotland, England and Ireland. Performed with love and dedication by an acoustic duo from Amsterdam composed of Margot Merah and Sophie Janna.

Tracks 2 and 5 feature Mirte de Graaff on violin. Track 3 features Stijn van Beek on low whistle. On track 13, Victor Lacken sings the lead part, which is fitting because it was Victor who brought The Lasses together in the first place! Alan McLachlan played a bunch of lovely instruments to complement our singing: electric guitar on tracks 4 and 8, mandolin on tracks 6 and 10, banjo on tracks 9 and 11. Many thanks to all of you!
